R.I.D.E. FirePony – Radical Inclusion Diversity Equity at FirePony

FirePony is committed to upholding the principal of Radical Inclusion by increasing Diversity and promoting Equity in our leadership and at our events, and rooting out residual systemic racism in our organization. Congratulations to m4 for accepting the position of Vice President!  m4 is already an invaluable member of the team as our tech guru, but has stepped up to take on additional responsibilities as VP. Thank you m4! You can read about m4 and all the FirePony board members here.

We’d like to thank Millie for her years of dedication and work growing FirePony and our events! While Millie is stepping down from her board role, she will still be involved in our Community Art and Civic Engagement (CACE) program, which aims to bring the burner ethos to local communities outside the burn, and joining our advisory team as advisor to other key committees. 
Board Recruiting 

We regularly recruit for new board members. The next recruiting period is April 2022, then to seat any new board members in June 2022. We’re always looking for people passionate about this community who are interested in serving at the board level. If interested, please feel free to email any board member to learn more about the role of a board position.
